After its' inaugral launch in 2005 BLINK MEDIA PRODUCTIONS has established itself in the Television Industry in providing outstanding service in the competitive market of freelance TV production.
With 29 years experience we are able to work as a team or individual and know what is required for you to get the best coverage possible. The industry is a challenge and a constantly changing environment and we feel overall we are able to meet any demand that is required of us. The services provided are strickly confidential and the initial consultaion is free after which a contractual agreement is entered into.
We offer a full ENG (Electronic News Gathering) kit providing the necessary equipment to cover news, current affairs, sport, lifestyle and corporate events. BLINK MEDIA PRODUCTIONS is a proud member and supporter of AACTA (Australian Academy Cinema Television Arts) and was on the jury panel for the 2013 AACTA awards and will again be participating on the jury panel for the 2014 AACTA awards.

Production Services
Full Day
The service provides a single camera operator with gear and a total of 8 hours is allocated for the shoot. Sound is provided by the camera operator for up to two talent and for more than two talent a sound recordist is required at a separte rate.
Half Day
The service provides a single camera operator with gear with a total of 4 hours allocated to the shoot. Sound is provided for up to two talent and for more than two talent a sound recordist is required at a separate rate.
Editing
BLINK MEDIA PRODUCTIONS uses Apple's Final Cut Pro and is a non linear editing platform. Using video and audio (Subject to copyright) a minimum of 4 hours is allocated then a full day rate applies or an hourly rate after that.
Format
The PAL format is used and shot on SONY XDCAM with an aspect ratio of 16:9 widescreen in either HD (High Definition) or SD (Standard Definition). Also a Black Magic Production 4K camera is available shooting 4K or PRO Res. The vision is then either copied to a USB stick or uploaded to DROPBOX.

Terms
Bookings
Bookings are subject to availability and may either be confirmed at the time of the booking or subject to change and may be placed on hold up to 48 hours at the time of call. A hold is automatically considered confirmed 48 hours prior to call time unless cancelled or negotiated. Once a booking is confirmed it may be cancelled however cancellation fees apply at a rate of 50% with 48 hours of call time and 100% with 24 hours call time. A hold may be cancelled by either party.
Payment
Payment terms are strickly 14 days from the date of invoice. A late payment may result in fees being applied at a rate of 10% per month. Listed rates apply internatinally and are offered only as a guide with fees subject to change with each job requirement.
Travel
Travel within the Sydney Metro area is free however outside the Sydney Metro area (50Kms radius) a $0.75c per Km is incurred. All tolls parking fees and fines will be billed to the client. Travel interstate or internationally including airfares, accomodation, meals, freight and excess baggage are at the expense of the client. Airfares, accomodation and car hire must be booked by the client prior to travel.
Times
Times are measured from call time to finish at point of origin in the sydney metro area and portal to portal all other national and international locations inclusive of lunch, travel and appropriate rest breaks.
Overtime
Overtime is charged at an hourly rate of $125.00 per hour EX GST after 4 hours then a full day rate applies to 8 hours then overtime is charged or otherwise negotiated at the time of booking.
